Description

The machine was purchased while conducting research in England, and its condition was such that repairs proved to be extremely difficult.
More precisely, it was found near Reading, a town west of London, by a local collector named Smith in 1996.
Despite being in bad condition, the Marshall was operational again in just a few months. Given the large size of this machine, it is presumed that it was used on large farming estates for work requiring considerable energy expenditure.
Repairs involved the boiler and the mechanics.
Restoration work was carried out on the tubes, taps, hatch, grille, ash pan, chimney, regulator, flywheel, bushings, cylinder bore, a piston, a rod, a connecting rod, and the ladder.
